Blain's Farm and Fleet is selling the Power Pro 900W/1000W 2 Stroke Portable Generator for $89.99. If you don't have a store location near you, you can have the generator shipped for $10.84 which brings the total price to $100.83, tax free if you are out of state (most of us will be). The last FP deal for this generator was from Home Depot for $95, free shipping but plus sales tax which comes out to the same price as this deal. I know many will thumb down this b/c they psychologically don't think that having to pay for shipping is a slickdeal, but the generator is $5 cheaper than it was at Home Depot, you don't have to pay $6-$8 in sales tax, but you do have to pay $11 in shipping. It's all about the math.

The last two years, Dish ran a promotion where you could get HBO for half-off (~$10/month) for six months right around the same time as Game of Thrones was starting. I didn't get any emails or see it on the dish network webpage so I started up a chat with the programming folks and they added the promotion. I know not everyone can get the EPP deal but for those who can, this is a smoking deal IMHO. I've been watching this one on Amazon since it came out and the lowest "new" price has been in the $389 range and lowest Amazon warehouse "used" deal is about $341. I've been a big fan of the Lumix travel zooms for some time now...they are great point and shoots that fit in a pants pocket, making them great for vacation photography.
