Somehow my college ring (Class of 1977) shrunk over the years so I dropped by a jewelers to ask about getting it resized. He told me that they couldn't resize Siladium (the material these are typically made from -- a stainless steel alloy). Not being one to take no for an answer, what I found is that Balfour and ArtCarved (a Balfour brand) who made my ring will resize the ring (within 2 sizes) for free.
