I've been watching my local Costco for the last 3 months waiting a tripod, probably a Dolica to appear. When I found a Manfrotto MKBFRA4-BHC for $139 minus instant $20 off I jumped.

Amazon sells what appears to be the same model for $200 although the model number is off by one letter. The amazon model is MKBFRA4-BH. I suspect the C on the end means Costco (but it's only a guess).

This tripod has:

My local store only had 2 left. Which is odd because I was last there only a week or two ago and there weren't any then. Either they went really fast or they didn't have very many from the start.

The item number on my receipt is 916741 but the Costco website doesn't show anything for that number nor does it even show the brand Manfrotto.

I'm pretty pleased, I think I got a better tripod than the Dolica's they normally carry. But then again, I probably didn't need a better tripod, I'm only an amateur enthusiast.
